I was somewhat concerned about that as well--primarily, I was concerned about giving jerks in parking lots any further motivation to vandalize--but now that I am in Texas, I don't have to rely on public parking 24-7 and it's less of a concern. It was still on my mind a bit though, which is part of the reason why I chose the specific plate that I did. Unless you are a big Cheap Trick fan or are familiar with the distribution sequence for plates in WV, it just looks like a standard issue plate at a glance. It's nicely inconspicuous while remaining personal and fun.
If I ever get bolder, I might try somethign bolder though. I'm considering "58NOTROD" for my 1958 Volvo.
